Who you are buying from
Enterprising Families ("we") sells and provides the Program. It is a trading name of MILC Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 163 567 048, ABN 68 163 567 048), based in Queensland, Australia. "You" means the buyer and everyone in their account.
What you get
A self-paced online program: 13 modules, 76 lessons, 35 worksheets, the fuller Business Family Diagnostic for each person, a family comparison of shared results, a twelve-month plan and a constitution builder. We may improve lessons, but won't take away the substance of what you paid for.
One person or one family
One person (US$495) has one seat. Its constitution draft is labelled as one person's view. One family (US$1,495) has up to ten seats: the buyer (the account owner) and up to nine family members. You can upgrade from one person to one family by paying the difference, US$1,000 at today's prices. For more than ten people, or several branches, write to us first.
- The owner, or an admin the owner appoints, invites family members by email. Each seat is one person, and open invites count against the seats.
- An invite link works once and lasts fourteen days.
- The owner or an admin can remove a member, and anyone can leave. Leaving deletes that person's results. The owner can delete the whole account.
How long you have access
For as long as we offer the Program, with no renewal fee. We may later offer an optional yearly re-take of the diagnostic for a fee, shown before you choose it. If we ever stop offering the Program, we'll give you notice and time to save what you have made.
Price and payment
Prices are in US dollars, paid once through Stripe's checkout. MILC Holdings Pty Ltd is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. Price changes apply only to new purchases.
Refunds
Tell us within thirty days of buying and we'll refund you in full. No reason needed. The account closes once the refund is made.
What the Program is not
- It is education and a structured way for a family to talk. It is not legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and it doesn't know your circumstances. Talk to your own advisers before you act.
- The constitution builder produces a draft for family discussion. It is not a legal document and binds no one. If you want any part of it to have legal effect, have a lawyer prepare that part.
- Advisory work (a Family Diagnostic Session, a Family Enterprise Strategy, an independent chair role) is separate. It is agreed in a written engagement letter before any work starts. Ask about it.
Your content and privacy
What you write and choose in the Program is yours. You let us store it and show it to you and, where you choose to share it, to your account's members. Each person's results stay private unless they share them. We don't sell your content or use it for advertising. See the privacy notice.
Using the material
The material belongs to Enterprising Families (or is used with permission). Your family may read, print and work through it, and share your drafts with your advisers. Please don't share seats or sign-in links outside the family, resell or republish the material, use it to advise others, or interfere with the site. If that happens, we may suspend the account after telling the owner why and, where reasonable, giving them a chance to fix it.
Our responsibility
We take care to make the Program useful, but can't promise any outcome for your family. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fee you paid, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Where the law lets us limit liability for a consumer guarantee, we'll supply the service again or pay the cost of having it supplied again.
Changes and governing law
If we change these terms in a way that matters to existing buyers, we'll email account owners first. These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, and its courts have jurisdiction. That doesn't remove consumer protections where you live.
